  • A selection of our Product Work

    Mellor&Scott produces powerful product and packaging design for a plethora of clients. This includes new product development (NPD) as well as product and packaging re-designs across a number of markets such as FMCG, fashion, medical, eyewear, consumer electrics and the drinks industry. Mellor & Scott work with both established international companies and entrepreneurial start-ups to design, develop, prototype, engineer, test and manufacture their products.


  • Product 1 - John Frieda

    Mellor&Scott produced a number of different pack alternatives for one of Kao's premium brands John Frieda. The brand communication rationale was that highly visual products i.e. travel packs, are a simple and effect method to recruit new consumers and retain existing customers. Mellor & Scott designed the packs to be retailed in-store and the premium feel of the brand was communicated with branded gloss glorifier trays.

  • Product 2 - FMCG Creative

    Mellor&Scott have a history of producing internal creative documents for large multi national clients to be used in internal meetings, creative workshops, innovation sessions and brainstorming sessions to help clients develop ideas and innovation for future projects. This type of work is intrinsic to Mellor & Scott’s Design Evaluation (DE) process allowing the designers to innovate and problem solve effectively.

  • Product 3 - Crooked Soul

    Mellor&Scott were approached by River Island to create a collection of sunglasses under their own brand Crooked Soul. Mellor & Scott designed, developed, engineered and manufactured the 3 piece collection to be sold at a higher price than River Island sell their regular sunglasses. The Crooked Soul collection is the first branded collection of frames to be sold in the high street retailers stores.

  • A selection of our Digital Work

    Mellor&Scott believe that communicating via digital formats is a huge growth area with an ever increasing number of benefits including speed of delivery. Most notably the ability to reach a larger, more targeted audience through a multitude of media channels with increasingly measurable efficiency. Mellor & Scott design and build websites, email campaigns, viral campaigns, apps, digital marketing, social media campaigns and structured adverts in the digital domain for a variety of clients.

  • Digital 1 – BVCA

    Mellor&Scott implemented the design strategy for the BVCA Insurance Services new generation website, this included behaviour analysis, implementation of user journey's, development of the brand, tone and communication. The website was developed in line with existing back-end functionality.

  • Digital 2 – Watkins

    Mellor&Scott started working with Watkins – one of the South East's best M&E groups – in late 2012. Complete analysis of the audience behaviours, competitors, user journey's, KPI's and analytics steered the site into a image led and high impact site. Renewed high impact photography coupled with refreshed marketing literature has driven a complete brand refresh for Watkins.

  • Digital 3 – Protean Risk

    Mellor&Scott worked with Protean Risk to assess the merit in revamping the companies brand and corporate feel. Working with the Protean Risk team to deliver a refreshed, relevant and contemporary brand, Mellor&Scott injected the new brand into a new website aimed at their corporate clients. The website delivers renewed and engaging content. Mellor&Scott have since delivered the sister site at Protean Partners.

  • A selection of our Branding Work

    Mellor&Scott firmly believe brand and consumer communication are key ingredients for successful marketing, user recruitment and customer retention. Mellor & Scott work with a number of clients producing communication, both for internal corporate campaigns and external consumer campaigns. The brand and communication can include design for print, digital, social media, mobile, apps, affiliate marketing, e-marketing and most importantly brand building to engage with consumers both new and existing.

  • Branding 2 – VAO

    Mellor&Scott have worked with Vision Aid Overseas on a series of their publications. Ranging from Annual Reports, through to their membership Outlooks brochures. VAO is a long established charity with a wide and varied membership base, Mellor&Scott took a targeted approach to refreshing the publications, it has been incredibly successful.

  • Branding 3 – Egencia

    Mellor&Scott have worked with Egencia for a number of years and for the last 2 years we have designed, developed, built and installed an exhibition stand for them at the Business Travel Show in Earls Court. With a brand refresh and re-alignment in 2013 the stand has been developed to showcase their key trends and values.
